Spearheaded an alumni reunion in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the MA in World Language Education at New Jersey City University that led to the building of an online community of world language educators, in May 2016.

Facilitated a poster presentation at the 17th Annual NJEDge Faculty Showcase entitled "If Avatars Could Talk" that explored the uses of virtual conversational agents in education, in March 2016.

Led a presentation on creating virtual culturally thematic theme parks, at the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Annual Convention held in San Diego, California, in November 2015.

Created social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for EdTech 2.0, the brand name of cohort 2017. The accounts were managed by Ericka Collado from July 2014 until January 2016 when Angelica Safanova took on the role of social media administrator.
