Lately, I have seen many world language educators referring to FVRs on social media. I was fortunate to attend a workshop facilitated by Dr. Victoria Gilbert at the NYSAIS Global Language and Culture Conference. Dr. Gilbert shared several strategies on how to acquire a collection of books for the classroom, that can be used as free voluntary reading (FVRs).
